Precision FDM Printing With the Capability to Handle What Others Can't

Extrusionary Designs operates a professional FDM 3D printing studio in Spokane, Washington — built from the ground up over years of hands-on experience with the equipment, the materials, and the real-world demands of the people who use printed parts every day.

We serve engineers, product developers, small businesses, makers, and creators across Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, and the wider Inland Northwest. Whether you need a single prototype turned around quickly, a production run of identical parts, or a large-format build that pushes what desktop printing can do — we have the machines, the expertise, and the process to deliver it right.

Local pickup available in Spokane. We ship anywhere in the US.

What We Print

From First Prototype to Full Production Run

Rapid Prototyping

Turn your design file into a physical part fast. We prioritise prototype jobs for engineers, developers, and makers who need to test, iterate, and refine before committing to a final design. Quick turnaround, consistent quality, and real feedback you can hold in your hand.

Production Runs

Need multiples? Our fleet runs around the clock so you don't have to wait. We handle production runs of identical parts with the consistency and repeatability that comes from dialed-in machines and an operator who actually checks the output. Same quality, every unit, every time.

Large Format Printing

When the build volume matters, most local print services fall short. Our large-format capable printers handle oversized parts, full assemblies, and builds that simply won't fit on a standard bed — without compromising on the print quality you'd expect from a professional studio.

Materials

The Right Material for the Job

Material choice has a bigger impact on your finished part than most people realize — it affects strength, flexibility, surface finish, heat resistance, and how the part behaves in its end-use environment. We'll help you choose the right one for your project.

PLA

The most accessible FDM material. Excellent surface detail, great for display pieces, prototypes, and low-stress applications. Easy to post-process and paint.

PETG

Our go-to for functional parts. Strong, slightly flexible, moisture-resistant, and more durable than PLA under real-world conditions. Ideal for mechanical components and enclosures.

ABS / ASA

Heat-resistant and impact-tough. ABS is a workhorse for durable functional parts; ASA adds UV resistance for outdoor use. Both are excellent for automotive, industrial, and exterior applications.

TPU

Flexible, rubber-like, and impact-absorbing. Used for grips, gaskets, wearable components, and anything that needs to flex or compress without breaking.

Not sure which material is right? Just describe your application in your quote request and we'll recommend the best fit.

The Process

Getting Your Part Printed Is Straightforward

01
Send us your project details

Use the quote form to tell us what you need — upload your file if you have one, or describe your project if you don't. No file? No problem. We'll figure out the best path forward together.

02
We review and quote

We'll review your project, ask any clarifying questions, and send you a clear quote covering material, timeline, and cost. No hidden fees, no surprises.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials do you print with?

We print in a wide range of FDM materials including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, and TPU. Material choice depends on your application — we'll recommend the best option for your project when you get in touch.

How large can you print?

Our fleet includes large-format capable printers that can handle builds significantly larger than most local print services. Contact us with your dimensions and we'll confirm what's possible.

Do you offer local pickup in Spokane?
