An exact copy of a toy dinosaur handed down through generations, 3D scanned and printed in flexible TPU so two brothers could each have their own.

A family had a toy dinosaur that has been handed down through generations, and two boys who kept fighting over it.

We scanned the original on a turntable with a handheld Revopoint MetroX, then printed an exact copy in Overture TPU on our Creality Ender 5+, a flexible filament that gives the copy a soft, toy-like feel. Organic shapes like this need support structure while printing, and the gallery shows the print in progress with its supports.

Now each boy has their own dinosaur.
